SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Corrections Oversight, Recidivism Reduction, and Eliminating Costs for Taxpayers In Our National System Act of 2015'' or the ``CORRECTIONS Act''. SEC. 2. RECIDIVISM REDUCTION PROGRAMMING AND PRODUCTIVE ACTIVITIES. (a) In General.--Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Attorney General shall-- (1) conduct a review of recidivism reduction programming and productive activities, including prison jobs, offered in correctional institutions, including programming and activities offered in State correctional institutions, which shall include a review of research on the effectiveness of such programs; (2) conduct a survey to identify products, including products purchased by Federal agencies, that are currently manufactured overseas and could be manufactured by prisoners participating in a prison work program without reducing job opportunities for other workers in the United States; and (3) submit to the Committee on the Judiciary and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate and the Committee on the Judiciary and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives a strategic plan…
