This money would go to members of your own staff if they meet the financial requirements and to other government employees who have suffered no financial loss during this pandemic. We have all suffered in different ways during the pandemic, to be sure, but, financially, this money is designed to help the people who need it the most. Why would you send money to government employees who have been receiving their full paycheck during this pandemic?”
