Those of us who support this initiative support it because we believe you can have improving air quality and improving water quality and increase jobs and economic output. It is not an either/or. It can be a win/win. But if we adopt the EPA's shortsighted, mandatory, very specific command-and-control attitude, you are, as Congressman Gohmert said, you are going to destroy jobs, destroy the economy, reduce output, and not get very much increased environmental quality.
