“I first want to take a little victory lap this morning. The college presidents announced yesterday we are going to have a non-BCS football playoff in college football, and I can take a little bit of credit because back when I was chairman of this committee, we had some hearings on that and we got the ball rolling and they announced a 2014 playoff, so I want to commend them but also take credit for this committee highlighting that issue several years ago.”
