George W. Bush: “I hereby proclaim Friday, September 6, through Sunday, September 8, 2002, as National Days of Prayer and Remembrance.”

Is it in our national interests that 25 million people who would have died now live? I think it is, and so do you.

We are grateful to the first responders and volunteers who are working to find the missing and comfort the grieving at Camp Mystic and along the Guadalupe.

History will remember him as among the finest public servants of his generation – a patriot who brought integrity, high intelligence, and seriousness of purpose to every position.

You've showed the great strength of America through your work—and that is your good heart.
