George W. Bush: “Our thoughts and prayers are with those who were injured and with the families of those who were killed.”

If any voters came hoping for a kind word and a hug, they’d have to settle for the kind word.

On this day of prayer, Laura and I are holding up our fellow Texans who are hurting.

Those who have lost their precious children are facing a grief no parents should ever know.

We are grateful to the first responders and volunteers who are working to find the missing and comfort the grieving at Camp Mystic and along the Guadalupe.
