George W. Bush: “I want to thank you and your team for working hard during these extraordinary times.”

If any voters came hoping for a kind word and a hug, they’d have to settle for the kind word.

On this day of prayer, Laura and I are holding up our fellow Texans who are hurting.

We know our words cannot help, but we believe the prayers of so many Americans will.

Is it in our national interests that 25 million people who would have died now live? I think it is, and so do you.
