May the God who gave us liberty bless those who are advancing freedom's cause.
Today, as we look back on the beginnings of our democracy, Americans recall that we live in a land of many blessings.
We are hopeful that other APEC nations will eventually join in.
The program he first announced in 2003 and expanded in 2008 has made the United States a leader in these efforts.
