George W. Bush: “I have today signed into law S. 1175, the 'Vicksburg National Military Park Boundary Modification Act of 2002.'”

On this day of prayer, Laura and I are holding up our fellow Texans who are hurting.

We know our words cannot help, but we believe the prayers of so many Americans will.

We are grateful to the first responders and volunteers who are working to find the missing and comfort the grieving at Camp Mystic and along the Guadalupe.

Is it in our interest that 25 million people who would have died now live? I think it is. On behalf of a grateful nation, thank you for your hard work and God bless you.
