George W. Bush: “Eugene Hickok, of Pennsylvania, to be Under Secretary of Education, vice Judith A. Winston, resigned.”

On this day of prayer, Laura and I are holding up our fellow Texans who are hurting.

If any voters came hoping for a kind word and a hug, they’d have to settle for the kind word.

We are heartbroken by the loss of life and the agony so many are feeling.

We are grateful to the first responders and volunteers who are working to find the missing and comfort the grieving at Camp Mystic and along the Guadalupe.
