George W. Bush: “On this solemn anniversary, we rededicate ourselves to the fight against the enemies of humanity.”

We are heartbroken by the loss of life and the agony so many are feeling.

On this day of prayer, Laura and I are holding up our fellow Texans who are hurting.

Those who have lost their precious children are facing a grief no parents should ever know.

Violence and vitriol must be purged from the public square. Members of other political parties are not our enemies; they are our fellow citizens.
