George W. Bush: “The meeting marks the continuation of the long friendship between the United States and Bahrain.”

If any voters came hoping for a kind word and a hug, they’d have to settle for the kind word.

We know our words cannot help, but we believe the prayers of so many Americans will.

We are grateful to the first responders and volunteers who are working to find the missing and comfort the grieving at Camp Mystic and along the Guadalupe.

On this day of prayer, Laura and I are holding up our fellow Texans who are hurting.
