I think you are engaging in the soft bigotry of low expectations.

One of our major problems is, we do not have enough immigrants. We are going to have to do something about our immigration policy.

This means that people of every race, religion, ethnicity can be fully and equally American. It means that bigotry or white supremacy in any form is blasphemy against the American creed.

No other issue will have more lasting impact on the well-being of your families and your future.
