Foreign Air Cargo Service to Lebanon August 17, 1992 Memorandum for the Secretary of Transportation Subject: Resumption of Foreign Air Cargo Service to Lebanon By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 1114(a) of the Federal Aviation Act of 1958, as amended (``the Act'') (49 U.S.C. 1514), I hereby determine that the prohibition of all transportation services to Lebanon by Presidential Determination 85-14 of July 1, 1985, is hereby amended to permit the outward carriage of cargo to Lebanon by foreign carriers. All other prohibitions set forth in Presidential Determination 85-14, including the prohibition on U.S. air carriers flying into Lebanon, remain in effect. You are directed to bring this determination immediately to the attention of all air carriers within the meaning of section 101(3) of the Act (49 U.S.C. 1301(3)).
