“I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Add at the end the following new section: SEC. __. INCLUSION OF COUNTERNARCOTICS IN DEFINITION OF FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE. Section 101(e)(1) is amended-- (1) in subparagraph (B), by striking ``; or'' and inserting a semicolon; and (2) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: ``(D) international production, distribution, or financing of illicit synthetic drugs, opioids, cocaine, or other drugs driving overdose deaths, or precursors of any aforementioned; or''.
