All this bill does is say--not as an afterthought, but as the cornerstone to the rulemaking process--the SEC simply understands the economic impact it's going to have and there's a cost- benefit analysis done. It's a good bill, and I urge its passage.

The scary part about that analogy is that it is actually a lot less troubling to lose an eye than it is to completely change your gender. Completely changing your gender is a far more invasive procedure than losing an eye. Trust me, I know.
The market doesn’t care what you think something ‘should’ cost. Only communists care (they set prices remember? Then everyone starves, remember?) Are you a communist? Or are you an American adult male capable of handling his own shit?
I will just ask a simple question, because the statement was made that all the science suggests that these procedures are medically necessary. Can they cite their sources? Show me the studies. I cited mine. Cite their sources.
