“We were all saddened to learn today of the passing of the spouse of one of our Members, Thomas Massie, the gentleman from Kentucky. His wife, Rhonda, of many years--they were childhood sweethearts--suddenly passed away yesterday. Mr. Massie had to drive home to Kentucky and be home with his family, which is where he is today. I ask everybody in the Chamber and everybody around the complex to please rise and observe a moment of silence and offer your prayers and thoughts and condolences for our good friend from Kentucky. ____________________”
