Chip Roy: “The only people being held hostage are the American people by Democrat leadership in the Senate and in the White House…”

“The only people being held hostage are the American people by Democrat leadership in the Senate and in the White House; holding them hostage to a wide open border, endangering them every single day, including the 110,000 some-odd migrants that have been sent to and gone to New York City, and that are endangering our people on the streets. The American people are, in fact, being held hostage because this Democratic leadership refuses to do their job to secure the border. Madam Speaker, I yield 3 minutes to the gentleman from Texas (Mr. Burgess), my friend and colleague.”
