This has been a fascinating discussion. The gentlewoman from Florida claims that the savings are between $9,000 and $29,000 while the numbers that we have are $200,000. If you ask your typical hard-working family if $9,000 is a lot of money, they will say, yes, it is. Is $29,000 a lot of money? They will say yes. Is $200,000 a lot of money? They will say yes. If you say, ``You are paying for that. Would you like the government to stop wasting that money?'' then they would say, absolutely, yes. If the gentlewoman does not want to waste any time on this and vote ``aye,'' then let's stop. I reserve the balance of my time.
