Bill Flores: “In your rulemaking, what level of job losses is acceptable?”

The goal of this hearing is to determine how we can build a hundred percent clean economy with opportunities for a low-carbon recovery.

There are no equitable opportunities for recovery for hardworking Americans if the power is out at work or if the lights out at home or school for our Nation's kids.

The point that I want to make is that finding a lasting solution to any of our economic, environmental, and energy solutions requires us to use nothing less than all of the tools in our toolbox.

Right now I am hearing many complaints from small businesses that they can't give their employees back to work, and they would love to have them back on their payrolls.
