we as Congress need to address the big issues here that nobody wants to address.

The accumulation of dead or dying trees has allowed an unnatural and chaotic form of wildfires.

The point that I want to make is that finding a lasting solution to any of our economic, environmental, and energy solutions requires us to use nothing less than all of the tools in our toolbox.

If these projects do not receive Federal attention, they may end up costing the Federal Government a substantial amount of funding in reconstruction and emergency response.
