The goal of this hearing is to determine how we can build a hundred percent clean economy with opportunities for a low-carbon recovery.

I would like to take this opportunity to discuss potential improvements to this year's WRDA that would positively impact projects located in the district I represent in central Texas.

We need to think about this beyond our borders and think globally.

By any number of metrics, our economy is really strong, thanks in large part to the policies implemented by Congress in 2017 and 2018 and by the Trump Administration.
