The goal of this hearing is to determine how we can build a hundred percent clean economy with opportunities for a low-carbon recovery.

The tragedy of today's hearing is that the majority of this Committee and the House of Representative has buried its head in the sand.

By any number of metrics, our economy is really strong, thanks in large part to the policies implemented by Congress in 2017 and 2018 and by the Trump Administration.

I would encourage you to expand the program's flexibility to address the needs of rural water systems.
