One of the things the Navy's had to do in order to do this and to develop other alternative fuel sources because it's not sure where it's going to get its fuel is to start using biofuels at the cost of $20-plus a gallon instead of buying it at $5 a gallon for jet fuel. That is not easier on the taxpayer.
