This is another good example where the gentleman offering the amendment is in a constructive way enhancing what we are trying to accomplish with good reform. Certainly the reformers here in support of Shays-Meehan accept the amendment and commend the gentleman from Arizona (Mr. Shadegg) for bringing this idea to us and actually putting it into a form that will certainly strengthen the Federal Election Commission and the laws and rules that govern we as candidates here in the House and in the Senate.
