I believe this issue of obesity is one of the largest unaddressed public health issues we face today, and I am pleased by the action we are taking today. I agree that it is critical that we continue to direct our attention to this issue, and it is my hope that the HELP Committee will continue to examine the issue, including by holding a hearing next year.
