The real significance is that patient care will be improved. It will get the waste and abuse out of the system. It makes the health care system more efficient. I am excited about it. Having interoperable standards that people begin to agree with means you will have an influx of private capital which will help with the spreading of this information technology infrastructure over time. ____________________
