If the North American Corp. goes out of business it is my understanding that the Department of Defense would be forced to depend on less reliable foreign suppliers, probably in Mexico or Asia. Further, it is my understanding that there is a lengthy and expensive process to qualify new suppliers that can take at least 3 years and possibly cost millions of dollars.
