I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. ___. The salary of David Kotz, Chief Management Officer at the United States Agency for Global Media, shall be reduced to $1. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 723, the gentleman from Tennessee (Mr. Burchett) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Tennessee.

People in Tennessee wanted it gone. It's ridiculous. In the fall it starts getting dark around 5:00. Kind of depresses me. Really kind of a doggy downer. So I'm kind of digging the fact that we're going to fix it.
