We have 42 million people on SNAP now. We have had roughly ten million crossing over, most of them seeking asylum.

With the record influx of illegal crossings at the southern border, I was wondering what steps you are taking to mitigate potential strain on the SNAP program.

We could literally be looking at several million new SNAP recipients, and we need to be prepared for that.

I have been imploring different agencies, including USDA, to get real numbers and transparency.
