“I want to thank our committee chairman for the excellent work. In my district in Tennessee, our farmers are pleased that we are bringing this conference report to the floor. They understand affordable fuels, and they are looking forward to working alternative fuels. Our small business community is excited about available energy. Most importantly, Mr. Speaker, I think this sends a message that America, this Nation, this Congress, is serious about a comprehensive plan and is ready and willing to address the future needs of this Nation's energy supply.”
