I think it is so important for us to note that the gentleman from Pennsylvania (Mr. Marino) has been the primary author of this legislation and has brought to the table to work on this bill his experience of 7 years as a U.S. attorney--10 years prior to that as a district attorney--and has seen firsthand and dealt with drug diversion, drug enforcement issues, and the needs of the patient.
