The legislative clerk read as follows: A bill (S. 1235) to require the Secretary of the Treasury to mint coins in commemoration of ratification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, giving women in the United States the right to vote. There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
