Mark Green: “That's what they want to do to President Trump. They want to say that, well, let's look at its entirety.”

It’s with a heavy heart that I say farewell.

To my constituents across Tennessee’s 7th District—thank you. The trust you put in me is humbling.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my retirement from Congress. Recently, I was offered an opportunity in the private sector that was too exciting to pass up.

Though I planned to retire at the end of the previous Congress, I stayed to ensure that President Trump's border security measures and priorities make it through Congress.
