Mark Green: “My hope is that this committee will work together on a bipartisan basis to enact smart policies to protect Americans.”

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my retirement from Congress.

While I cannot give the details here, I will be doing something specifically designed to help America compete against the CCP [Chinese Communist Party], but this time in business.

To my constituents across Tennessee’s 7th District—thank you. The trust you put in me is humbling.

Though I planned to retire at the end of the previous Congress, I stayed to ensure that President Trump's border security measures and priorities make it through Congress.
