“I think the point you made earlier is so true. I could not help but think as you were talking about schools and how things have changed, I think unless you have been there a lot, you forget. I think of the community I grew up in that I happen to represent in Congress now. The school I was in was a very small union school that you stayed in. I went there for 12 years. The Wade County superintendent, where our state capital is, I was on a conference call with him two days ago with the Secretary. They are gaining 3,500 students a year in new students. He said, ``We are spending $3 million a month on construction and renovation and can't come close to keeping up.'' These are the kinds of things where we need that partnership that you were talking about.”
