As a lifelong pharmacist, I’ve seen firsthand how PBMs game the system. When the same corporate giant that sets reimbursement rates also owns the pharmacy collecting them, that’s not a free market—it’s a rigged one.

Patients should never be abandoned after undergoing life-altering, harmful medical interventions once reality sets in.

Congress should bring transparency, competition, and accountability to this process so providers, innovators, and patients all benefit from a more open and competitive system.
