I represent the Third District of Tennessee. We've heard a great debate today. Let's be clear. The numbers are self- evident. When the world price of sugar compared to the United States' price of sugar is so out of kilter since reform--72, 91, 77, and 63 percent since 2008--we cannot compete in America based on the world price. It's a commodity. It's an agreement. I urge strong support of this amendment. We've got American jobs at stake. We cannot compete if this program continues. Jobs will leave America. Let's support this amendment.
