Today, 1 day shy of 8 weeks later, I finally received a response... This response did not come from Secretary Clinton.

I don't know of a Foreign Service person who I respect more than the nominee for this position.

I like serving people. I like dealing with problems and trying to find ways to improve the quality of lives of people in my State.

I very much appreciate what I am doing. I know how important it is.
