I know we are all here tonight, and I am pleased to be here with the gentleman, because I know the gentleman is such a leader in education and in so many other areas, but also our other colleagues, the gentleman from North Carolina (Mr. Price), who I have worked with in the past very closely, also the gentlewoman from California (Mrs. Capps), and I might say she had a wonderful husband who was a Member of Congress that served so well and ably here, and the gentleman from New Jersey (Mr. Holt). It is a pleasure to be with all of them to talk about something that is near and dear to my heart, and that is education. I am a former college president, and I will never forget my first day in Congress. People would come up to me and say, boy, you are a Congressman now. That is really something.
