I will not vote for any constitutional amendment that undermines the First Amendment, which, as the U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed, protects even unpopular forms of dissent. Our founding fathers well know the importance of free speech and expression, and carrying on that tradition, we should do everything possible to ensure that this fundamental cornerstone of our democracy remains intact.
