What is worse, many of these children are forced to go hungry for unpaid school meals, which is just plain wrong.

I am concerned and I worry that this will disproportionately impact working families with children trying to climb out of poverty.

It is unfathomable to me that anyone would shame and punish children for their parents' or their guardians' inability to afford school meals...
