This is the first time that a constitutional right has been taken away. What’s next? It’s going to be voting rights? Is it going to be marriage equality? Is it going to be civil rights? Is it going to be a ban on interracial marriages? What the heck? This is a fundamental right, a democratic right that’s being taken away. This is the beginning of the erosion of our democracy.
