Commercial airplanes, as far as I know, all airplanes in the United States, have within them something called a black box--a black box that records the events of the cockpit. It also records critical operating data from the airplane so that in the event of an accident, the data and the voice recordings can be reviewed to try to figure out what happened. Does the Senator know what color the black box is?
