A couple of points I would just like to make. First of all, confiscated property 50 years-plus ago should be part of negotiations in terms of bilateral discussions as it relates to normalizing relations with Cuba. What is in this bill right now is what we have indicated, and which is why we offer this amendment. This bill prohibits Americans from traveling to Cuba. It eliminates jobs in America, and it eliminates economic growth through our maritime industry and our airline industry. Once again, all of the issues that occurred 50 years ago are subject to discussion based on any bilateral negotiations taking place.
