I have an amendment at the desk. The CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. (a) None of the funds made available by this Act may be used pursuant to the Authorization for Use of Military Force (Public Law 107-40; 50 U.S.C. 1541 note). (b) Subsection (a) shall apply beginning on April 30, 2017. The CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 783, the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Lee) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from California.
