Today I recognize Katie Murray for all of her hard work on behalf of myself, my staff, and the citizens of South Dakota while working in my Rapid City and Sioux Falls, offices. Katie is a joy to work with, and she has been an excellent public servant. We wish her the best in all of her future endeavors. The citizens of South Dakota, my staff, and I are grateful to Katie for her service. We are a better State because of her hard work. ____________________

We’ll be watching the USPS’s team closely to see if and how these recommendations are implemented, and whether they actually make meaningful improvements in delivery time.
Following my letter last week, I’m pleased to see that the President is taking steps to lower fuel prices, including a review of certain taxes on diesel. This is an opportunity to offer real relief to South Dakotans who continue to pay…
Until then, we’ll keep the pressure on and continue to fight for a return to service standards that not only meet but exceed expectations.
