We need to act now to bring down the price of diesel.

What we can and should do right now is explore suspending the federal gas tax through the end of the year to give Americans immediate relief.

I’m grateful to Inspector General Tammy Hull and her team for their thorough review process in South Dakota and their thoughtful recommendations for improvements.

Until then, we’ll keep the pressure on and continue to fight for a return to service standards that not only meet but exceed expectations.
