I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until 3 p.m. on Monday, March 10; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, morning business be closed, and the Senate proceed to executive session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar No. 29, the Chavez-DeRemer nomination; further, that the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination at 5:30 p.m.; further, following disposition of the Chavez- DeRemer nomination, the Senate resume legislative session and resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 18, S. 331, and the Senate vote on adoption of the motion; finally, if any nominations are confirmed during Monday's session of the Senate, the motions to reconsider are considered made and laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action.
