Unfortunately, I think after two government shutdowns that have extended for a long period of time, it’s better for everybody if there’s predictability, certainty, and just to take that issue off the table.

We absolutely have to win that race so everybody is all in for Ken Paxton.

The election ought to be painting a contrast between us and the Democrats and not creating conflicts with fellow Republicans.

I think it illustrates the clear contrast between us and the Democrats about how you want to, how you see government functioning.
